Provenance references:16 December 2015 correspondence from Anthony Tedeschi (Curator Rare Books and Fine Printing; Alexander Turnbull Library, National Library of New Zealand); Hooke's diary entry for Friday 14 June 1689 "pd 15d at Huzzys Auction for Miltons Areopagita" [the price is wrongly transcribed as '15s' in Hooke, Diary, 1688-1693 (1935), p.129].
Annotations:Inscription on the title-page 'RH. pd. 15d. in Hussys Auct. June 14. 1689' noted by Anthony Tedeschi.
On B3v (p. 12) 'wayfaring' is corrected to 'warfaring'.
Other notes:Previously Hooke's annotation was wrongly transcribed as beginning with "Rt" rather than "RH," prompting Giles Mandelbrote to suggest a closer look at the inscription.
