This volume is the one of the two surviving presentation copies of the 1665 edition of the Micrographia. Mentioned by Haskell F. Norman in "My Education as a Bibliophile," originally published as an introduction to The Haskell F. Norman Library of Science & Medicine (1991). The Haskell F. Norman Library was auctioned by Christie's in New York on 15-16 June 1998 (sale 8922), with this copy as lot 525; it was purchased by a private collector.
